Photography Competition and Regional Logo Creative
The Photography Competition and Regional Creation Logo are programs organized by the Tourism Destination Department of the Bandung NHI Tourism Polytechnic. These are events featuring a photography competition and logo design centered around the theme "TechTour: Pioneering the Future of Tourism," along with the motto "Where innovation drives unforgettable experiences, and technology reshapes the way we welcome the world."
General Regulations

Submission Period The initial registration and submission of entries will be open from August 01, 2023, to October 22, 2023.

Registration Process During the submission period, participants are required to complete the Participant Registration Form and promptly send it to the organizing committee as an indication that the prospective participant is officially registered for the 2023 Photography Competition and Regional Creative Logo event. This also signifies their readiness to submit their works and provide the necessary work-related information in the form.

There is no registration fee for the 2023 Photography Competition and Regional Creative Logo.

Best Photo (judged by the panel of judges)

Favorite Photo (determined through Instagram voting with the highest number of likes). Participants are requested to upload their work on Instagram, tagging the accounts @kemenparekraf.ri @poltekpar_nhi @himadep @ntsc_2023, and tagging the respective regional Instagram accounts for participants taking part in the Creative Logo competition.

Terms and Conditions - General
a. General Participant Requirements and Terms

Nationality: Participants must be citizens of Indonesia.

Creation Activity: The creation activities undertaken by participants, including photography and the design of a regional logo with the utmost creativity, must be carried out within the borders of Indonesia, utilizing the backdrop of Indonesia.

Personal Identification: Participants are required to possess valid identification cards (such as Identity Cards, Student Cards, Passports).

Eligibility: The competition is open to students, individuals, and groups. Participants should not be involved in the production process.

Organizational Affiliation: Participants must not be registered within the organizing committee of the NHI TOURISM SKILL COMPETITION.
b. General Artwork Requirements and Terms

The entirety of the Regional Photos and Logos must align with the theme "TechTour: Pioneering the Future of Tourism" and the Tagline: "Where innovation drives unforgettable experiences, and technology reshapes the way we welcome the world."

Competing Photo Category involves photos that capture technological innovation employed in the tourism industry. Editing is allowed only for adjustments such as cropping, brightness, saturation, and contrast. It is strictly prohibited to alter colors or replace them.

Competing Regional Logo Category involves logos that effectively represent the identity and unique characteristics of the tourism region being promoted.

Attribution of the original source is required for works taken from the internet or any other sources.

Both Regional Photos and Logos must be original creations.

Logos must exude the charm and distinctive allure of the respective destination. They should be relevant to the chosen region, utilizing symbols, imagery, or elements associated with the area, such as landscapes or historical structures. Logos should possess a simple and recognizable design, aiming to convey positive impressions. The design, colors, and visual elements used must depict the excitement, beauty, or comfort connected to the chosen region. Finally, logos must be original and not infringe upon existing copyrights or trademarks. It's crucial to ensure that the created logo is entirely one's own work and not a copy or imitation of existing logos.

Participants must provide a declaration letter (provided by the committee during registration) stating that the submitted Regional Photos and Logos are their original creations, not the work of others. In case of intellectual property complaints, the organizing committee will not be held responsible.

The submitted photo works should have a landscape orientation and can be captured using various types of cameras (DSLR, pocket, mirrorless, smartphone, etc.) with a resolution of 3200 x 2400 pixels and adequate lighting.

Digital manipulation is allowed as long as it doesn't compromise the authenticity of the subject and/or alter/remove elements within the photo.

Participants are prohibited from altering colors; any color changes found by the committee or jury could result in disqualification of the work.

The maximum work submission date for photos and logo creation is the year 2021.

Participants should submit their works based on descriptions provided by the committee. The description format will be provided along with the registration form and declaration letter. The description should not exceed 1000 characters.
