Mixology Competition

Mixology competition is an event that assesses skills and creativity in crafting both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Mixology involves the utilization of various ingredients, sophisticated mixing techniques, and captivating presentation to create delicious and unique drinks.

Rules and Regulation

  1. Current event/competition theme is “Pioneering Indonesian Local Culture” – It is an effort by Indonesian Ministry of Tourism & Creative Economy and Indonesia Gastronomy Network to promote Indonesian Local Culture.

  2. Competition will be held on-site in PPNHIB

  3. Participant ID will be handled on-site and required to be wore during competition.

  4. Participant have to bring their own utensils.

  5. Competition stage will be divided into 2 phases, qualification round & final round (mystery box).

  6. In qualification round, participant will be given 2-minute for preparation, 5 minute for making product and presentation.

  7. In final round, time will be the same like qualification round.

  8. In final round, participants will be given a mystery box with random Indonesian traditional herbs, spices and syrup that they will need to include in their cocktail recipe.

  9. Pariticipant are able to use anykind of background music to support their own performance or presentation.

  10. Participants are forbid to bring their own infused spirit.

  11. Judges' decision is FINAL.

Mixology Drink & Preparation

  1. Recipe are only allowed to contain maximum eight different ingridients including fruit, juice,  syrup, homemade ingredients, spirit (including garnish).

  2. Recipe need to contain minimum 30ml of spirit and 15ml of syrup from the sponsor.

  3. Participant are allowed to bring "homemade  liquid" with maximum 3 ingridients inside the homemade.

  4. Participant have to make 1 portion of signature cocktail for display and 3 small portion of signature cocktail for judges.

  5. The use of bar tricks and other technical techniques that are very entertaining nature allowed, except flair.

  6. Participants are not allowed to bring helper.

  7. If there are participants who use similar products with different brands will be subject to a deduction

  8. USING PRODUCT FROM SPONSOR IS A MUST

  9. All participants are obligated to submit their cocktail's recipe before technical meeting.

  10. By agreeing to above conditions, participants agree to give their recipe to organizer-all rights reserved.
